When is it official?

When does the holiday season officially start for you?

Is it when you watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, when you watch the Rockerfeller Christmas tree lighting, when you put up your Christmas tree, when you start baking Christmas cookies, when you hear Christmas music on the radio, or something else?

I'm not sure. I started listening to Christmas music on November 1st but we didn't decorate until Black Friday this year. We never watch the parade so that makes us no difference.

It's been hard for me to get into the spirit lately.

Usually Thanksgiving is our Christmas kick-off,lol.We watch the parade that morning, have our Thanksgiving feast, usually watch one of our many favorite Christmas movies that night.Christmas music starts getting played in our house all day every day the next day and then put up our tree at some point that weekend. After that it's a whirlwind of Christmas activities, shopping, decorating, and Christmas baking up until the big day.
