Okay ladies this is the first of out Home Management Binder Challenges. These challenges will help you build a HMB that suits your needs and those of your family. If you already have a HMB and are just looking to improve on what you have this week you will only need to do part 2 of the challenge.
Part 1
Gather Materials
Binder- any size is okay but I discovered that I needed the big 3" binder and would recommend it to everyone.
Dividers- these are going to keep your sections organized and easy to find, use any kind you like, mine have pockets so I can store little things or temporary things in them.
Page Protectors- these are for your print-ables, you can write on them with expo markers and just erase each day or they just keep your information safe from the parallels of being a mom.
Expo Markers
Part 2
Create your outline. Your outline will help you figure out what you want to include in your HMB and how to best organize your binder to reach maximum potential. Even if you already have a HMB I would recommend doing this, it will help you to add anything you want and to make the most of your HMB.
Here is an example based off my binder this is by no means the best way, it is just the way that works for me.

Hmm. First off I want to say what good ideas! Some of these things I've not thought of having together in a central area! In my particular situation I have about 1/2 of this stuff, if not more, on my iPod. I find that I still have a lot of hard copy things to organize so I have the binder, too. Any advice on what I should to organize this combo? Maybe I should have a referance sheet in the front of my binder as to what information is where on my iPod?
that would be great, if you find yourself using your ipod more often then a referance sheet would be great so you don't find yourself wondering where you put something, then go ahead and make an outline for what you will keep in your binder
This is a great post. I already have a binder but will be taking everything out and starting new. Will post my outline this weekend. Thing are sure different when pregnant and trying to keep up with nonpregnant routine lol.

Just remember to make a routine that works for you now, it will change again after the baby and then again when the baby is a few months old so just be flexable
I'm in the same boat!! I'm 7 1/2 months. :) I'm trying to stay flexible yet still get work done. Its a bit of a challenge. :P

Oops Yes I do have a "Mom Stuff" section there, I just missed fixing that up when reformating (lost all the spacing when I cut / paste into Cafemom)
