Today we start our Bible Study on Proverbs 31:10-31  Today I would like to start with a few questions.

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman?

What are you looking to get from this study?

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage?

This study isn't just about keeping a home, it is about being a Godly woman, wife and mother.  The Proverbs 31 woman, is not just a woman, she is not just a wife, she is not just a mother, she is all three.  We will study all aspects of this woman's life, and discover how to apply all that are held in these scriptures.

Don't get scared, don't get discouraged, you can be a Proverbs 31 Woman, it sn't as hard as you think!

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman?

The Proverbs 31 woman is very balanced. She has a way of attending to her whole households needs, her communities, and her own. She works tirelessly to make sure everything is running smoothly and happily. I think this represents the balance that all of us seek as women.

What are you looking to get from this study?

I would like to delve into this study to gain insight and practical ways along with encouragment in applying these verses into our lives. To see where we are doing well and the areas that we need to work on. I'm also looking forward to processing our thoughts on these verses.

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage?

Definitely getting overwhelmed and as a result "eating the bread of idleness." I can put off projects that overwhelm me and find a million of reasons why I am doing this and other things that I need to do.

I would like to start the day in prayer and stay motivated in what God would like for me to do and accomplish.

Also, something I have been working on for the last year....while I never speak ill of my husband to others I have a quick temper. If I get overwhelmed or frustrated I sometimes too easily say something that I shouldn't to him and lose my temper. As I said I have been working on this for awhile and now the times that are the toughest are when I am hormonal or sick. Verse 26 really speaks to me about this. I have it in one of my signatures to help remind me of this verse. I do well with others and to others, but sometimes slip with those that matter most...my husband and children.

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman?
She is everything I wish I was but am not, she is hard working, seemingly never taking a selfish moment for herself she uses all her talents to the benefit of her family, she takes pride in her appearance and brings honor to her hubby.

I would like to see ways that I can/need to change to become like this woman, sometimes the obvious is the hardest thing for me to see lol

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage?
For home I agree with the above poster my idleness creates large problems that I then put off anyway I can because they are to big and I feel overwhelmed, if I just had some discipline to stick to a routine, for children I need to teach them discipline to a routine lol they learn what they see so much more than what I say.  And for my marriage I need to learn to shut my mouth I never complain publicly about my hubby and I never argue with him in front of anyone but when we are alone at home I just can't shut my mouth and it's getting worse I've even slipped in front of our children a few times lately, there is no defence but if I were to give one I would say my hubby is only just getting to know the Lord and some of the things he does just aren't right but I clearly am not handling it in any way that honors God I know.

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman? She is a woman that lives for the Lord first, her family second, others third and herself last. She is creative, frugal, and well-balanced in her time with the Lord, her family and others.

What are you looking to get from this study?  Hopefully it can help me to place the Lord first at all times. I do strive to spend time with reading the Word and praying/devotionals early in the morning, but have yet to keep on it.

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage? My husband has asked me to read the Bible with him and pray with him and I would like to do this more... but yet something still holds me back.

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman? She puts everyone before her and she is truly a daughter of the King, I think she is all that God wants us to be and that we can be that woman if we first seek Him and make the efforts we need to, to change our mindset to God's mindset and not of the world's.

What are you looking to get from this study? I am looking for the team of other woman to support me in trying to be this woman since many woman in this world are not willing to make this change, let alone support someone else in doing it.  I am looking to dig so much deeper into God's word and find out all He desires for us as woman, mothers, wives, and children of His.

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage? I really need to work on getting up earlier to spend time with God and have alone time from the children before the day begins, as well as to add time to my day because when I sleep in it takes so much from the day and then it flies by and I dont do all that I should do.

I also need to spend more quality time with my children and do more learning activities with them as well as get them around other children to be involved with and spend time with, I need to learn their love languages and begin filling them and not treating them as if they are the same type of child because they are not.

For my marriage, I really need to work on my tongue harder than I have been, Im doing good but I can do so much better, I need to work on bringing back the passion we once had in our marriage for one another and stop letting life, kids, and my sefishnesses keep us from that, I want us to grow stronger togetehr than we ever have been and put God back in the front seat of our lives. And above all I want us to have the passion for the Lord together that we once had about four years ago when we had first gotten involved with Youth ministry.

What do you think of the Proverbs 31 woman?  I think that the Proverbs 31 woman is trustworthy, patient, calm.  She is hardworking and cares for the needs of not only her family but those outside of her family as well.  She is wise and faithful and never idle. She fears the Lord.

What are you looking to get from this study?  I want to be more like the Proverbs 31 woman.  I want to exhibit these qualities and grow ever stronger in my faith.

What are some areas that you really need to work  on as far as your home, your children, your marriage?  I need to work on being more patient and calm; sometimes I find myself losing my temper over relatively small things.  I also need to pay more attention to my husband when he talks. Sometimes I find myself zoning out instead of giving him the ear and the respect that he deserves.  I know that I also need to be conscious of the time I waste.  I don't always do the household tasks I need to do each day. I also want to grow more and more in my faith so that I can be a good example for my child (soon-to-be children) and my husband.
