Once Upon A Time,

    In A Land Far, Far, Away,

           Lived A Little Girl,

 

This little girl loved diving into a good book and learning something new. In the cold winter months you could find her snuggled up with a warm blanket reading a good book. In the hot summer months you could find the same little girl sitting on the branches of a shade tree with her nose in a book. Her literary travels took her all over the world.

When this little girl grew up she became an elementary teacher to share her love of reading with children. One day she read about a children's publishing company that created enchanting, magical books loved by the whole family. She loved the books she read from this company ... and so did her kids ( in the classroom and at home). She decided to take her love for reading one step further and share it with the community as a Barefoot Books Ambassador.

I still enjoy snuggling in the blankets and reading a good book into the wee hours of the night. Books are the cheapest way to travel. The action of opening the book can take you into the past, the future or 300 miles down the road. Within minutes words have turned into beautifully painted pictures in your head. As a Barefoot Books Ambassador, I truly enjoy sharing the magical world of reading with children and their families.
