I was in another group earier and there was this post where this ladies was saying the school wants her to test her son for adhd. well this one woman came on there telling her not to put her kids on adhd meds because all it is legal Meth. Are you fucking kidding me. obviously this woman don't know jack shit about adhd med.
Have any of you ladies heard of this shit. i have been dealing with adhd meds for 7 years. i have2 kids with adhd and one that has other behavior issue along with adhd and i have never heard it was legal Meth.
Do not worry about what other people say about ADHD prescriptions. If a licenced doctor prescribes it, it is a legal drug.
There are a lot of people that don't know what they are talking about. The meds do have a stimulant in them and it will make the test positive for meth. But these people that make comments like this have never had to deal with a child with ADHD. My son has ADHD along with some other issues and when he forgets to take his meds in the AM I can almost guarantee a call from the school or the police. It has happened more then once. So When I hear people say stupid things like that it used to make me angry now I just look at them and think how clueless they are. So if it helps your kids then stick with it we mothers know what is best for our kids.
