I was wondering if anyone knows of a 13 yr old with a personal paraprofessional? currently he has access to a classroom paraprofessional, but we think he may need a personal para professional for behavior issues. He doesn't access the class para very much but he struggles with impulsiveness and frustration issues. He struggles to know when to walk away, and reacts physically. i am just courios if anyone has heard of this.
My son was in those situations and the problem is that with 2 "teachers" they can not figure out which one to listen to so it fustrates them. After we pulled him away from that to where he only had one teacher then he improved a bit and his grades got better. Sometimes less is more.
