I am new to the group. My name is Tracy and I am a mother of 4. My 8 year old son was just diagnosed with adhd this morning. I have suspected it for about a year now; and just this last marking period his teacher started to see it affecting his work. I am trying to learn everything I can about this and all that. Would love to talk to other Moms who are dealing with this too.

Hi and welcome! I have twin boys with ADHD as well as my dh. A great resource is http://www.chadd.org/ to get you started. Everyone in this group is very helpful and supportive.
