Mini Pill

So has anyone been on the mini pill?

I have been taking Camila,Micronor for over a week now and I hate it. I had my dd on 11-30 and have not stopped bleeding yet. My bleeding got heavier when I started the pill and has still not gone away. My dr. says that this is a side effect from the mini pill and that I will most likely have bleeding the whole time I am taking the mini pill.

What are your experiences with the mini pill? I dont want to quit taking it since I cant take any other kind of birth control..but I dont want to bleed all the time either..=(

Im not on it but its the one im considering taking but im afraid, my dd is 11 weeks old and I still dont have my period back cause im bfing....im afraid once I start it I will start my period back up lol and I dont want it, but I also dont want another baby right now.  Im on the fence about when to start it.  Sorry your having a bad side effect I wouldnt want that either, can you maybe consider an IUD?

After I had my first I went on it and bled for 3months straight before I said screw it and went off of it. We just used condoms till I quit nursing. I refuse to go on it again. My Dr wanted me on it till Dh had his vasectomy but I dont want to bleed the whole time again.

My experience with the minipill is my older son...a little backstory. I was on this while I was breastfeeding my first child, I raved about it, recommended it to a friend and everything.  (micronor to be specific) Well when my daughter was 8 months old and taking her first steps (Sept 11th even , THE 9/11) I was on the phone with my DH telling him we needed to talk cause I was pregnant again. My 2 older kids are 14 mnths apart. After telling my friend I was pregnant she told me that she had asked her Dr about this pill and they informed her that if she stopped BFing (as I had done) that your chances of conceiving on this pill are about 1 in 20. Now my DH and I are doing a combo of abstaining and NFP. So far I'm teriified I'll get pregnant again since they've started coming in two's now.

I never heard or took mini pills for BC. However, when I was on Depo Provera... I bleed the whole time I was on it... I had my Son Billy December 7,2006 and didn't stop bleeding till the December 2007. I went to my 6 week postpartum and they said it was normal to bleed till then anything after was not normal.. But, a lot of the people who I know that was on Depo Provera stopped bleeding.... And when I told people I was still bleeding they said I wasn't suppose too... I quit depo and started back on my reqular cycle...

Can you get the Mirena?? I got it put in about 2 weeks ago and I love it!!! I was on the pregnant after I had my DD December 07 and got pregnant on it and thats how I ended up w/ little Haley Brooke in November of 08 but I wouldn't change anything for the world I love my girls!! But I do not like the mini pill!!
