 Hey everyone!

My name is kat and I have been an animal lover all my life. I grew up with horses, a calf, goats, cats, dogs, you name it we had it!

Now I am 25, married for a little over 3 years with two tots, Autumn who will be 3 in Feb and Logan who is 17 months. We have a rescued lab named Cody who is 7 years old and just the most laid back awesome dog in the world and a cat named sausage who we adopted a few months ago who has fit right into our family.

Currently we are waiting to hear about the adoption of a great bernese. Which I have been searching for the right one for over a year. We saw the add for our local rescue group today and my husband called but nothing yet........ ::fingers crossed:: this could be the one! LOL

Anyway I love animals, hiking, yoga, running, Pilate's, weights, checkers, cooking, baking, fall, reading, cafe mom! I am vegan and my family is vegetarian but I promise we aren't the crazy kind :D

Hi Kat! 

I too love animals, but didn't have the opportunity to grow up with any as we rented while I was a child.  But now that I have my own place (a rental that allows pets) I have A lot of animals.  LOL 

Right now I have a large pony, three dogs (a mini dachshund, a standard dachshund and a great dane), a ferret, two birds (a goffins cockatoo and an african grey) and a stray cat that adopted us two days after we moved in.

Now that I have plenty of property (over 100 acres) I am looking to get into wildlife rehabilitation in the near future.  Did I mention I LOVE animals?  LOL

Hi Kat!  You already commented on my welcome post but I wanted to say hi again!  We both have young kids too!  My kids are ages 2 and 4.

Have you heard about the Great Bernese yet?
