The nursing home I work at has a big bird enclosure filled with finchs and a few canaries. This little fella fell out of the nest and nurses tried to put him back in the nest only to be kicked right back out he's had a few nasty falls but nothing seems broken...his legs seem splayed but he is so small I can't tape them!! I've had him for 3 days now and he eats and poops normal I have no idea how old he is. I have experiance handfeeding cockatiels but they are much different. I have to feed this little fella with tweezers he is so small. He has a little air in his crop and its so small I have had a hell of a time trying to push it out. Anyone have any experiance handfeeding birds this small? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, I don't have any tips except to see a vet to get some tubing & syringe feed it. (tube connected to needless syringe) that's what I did for a pair of gouldian finches I couldn't afford to lose. I lost one any way but saved one.
He ended up dying. He was way under developed compared to the other finches in his old nest I assume something was wrong with him to begin with. He did well for 3 days then began refusing to eat and breathing strange. Did the best I could. RIP Angry Bird.
