We used to own a ball python years ago.  It was my sons pet.

ball pythons are ok.  Retics can be nasty though, why?

I own a ball, a sand boa, bearded dragon,
and soon to be corn snake. All of them are rescues, the ball was very abused before we got her. So if ya have any question feel free to ask me.

I should also add that I have had more snake in the past.

I used to raise ball pythons, have had tons of them. Had a couple of burmese and a reticulated as well. Ball phythons are by far my favorite, much easier to handle. I dealt in several different color morphs as well as normals. If you're looking for a good high quality snake, check out Bob Clark out of Oklahoma. He really knows his stuff, and he'll ship and is quite reasonable. Fair warning though, you ship a snake and it won't be a happy camper when it finally gets unboxed. Expect to be bitten.... Just saying :)
