Hello everyone,
my son had a stroke in april at the age of 14. he is doing well but is suffering from major anxiety im having a hard time getting him to stay a full day of school, before the stroke he was an A student and never misseed a day of school after the stroke he completly lost his knowledge of algebra so he is having a hard time with his grades nothing is below a C but that is hard on him. Does anybody have the same issue? Does anybody have any advise for me on how to help my son through these struggles?

Hi! I just joined this group a few minutes ago. But my daughter is 17, and has had 2 stroke and 1 TIA since June. She had a ahrd time adjusting to school as well. I went to her school counseler and set up an IEP plan for her. She goes for 4 hours a day, and takes her core classes with the special ed teacher. This has worked wonders for her. Have you talked to anyone at the school about his condition?
