some friends gave me copies of both creative knitting and interweave knits. I like both, but creative knits is more practical, and has more things that I would actually wear. plus it has a lot of easy and intermediate patterns. only a few experienced ones. try going to the store and skimming thru some. you'll get to see the styles, and decide which are not for you.

I also subscribe to creative knitting. My suggestion is to go to where you buy your yarn, the local JoAnn's or AC Moore for instance, & check out their magazine section... this way you can take a look at several of the magazines out there without having to subscribe & end up hating them. LOL I do know that you can try a free issue of creative knitting by going to their website: www.creativeknittingmagazine.com :o)

by mama2G on Sep. 30, 2008 at 11:59 PMThat's a tough question. I'm some what of a collector of knit/crochet magazines. Some have better patterns and some have better acticles. I even buy the knitting mags. from the U.K. Those darn things cost almost $10. ( Yeah, I know...I'm crazy! ) ;-) -Jo |
