Attachment Parenting is nothing new. It's a return to our instinctual parenting behaivors. AP parents believe in the value of the family bed or co-sleeping, extended breastfeeding, and baby/toddler wearing- among many other things. Attachment Parenting is about treating your children gently & respectfully. It also about modeling the behavior you want to see in your children.

Being an AP mom to an infant is a breeze! But things seem to start changing around 11 months...don't you think? All of the sudden your sweet little baby is getting into trouble, throwing tantrums, executing dangerous acrobatics, & trying to nurse in the oddest of positions! It's an exhausting time and it can be difficult to stick to your AP beliefs.

If you know what I am talking about than this is THE group for you. We have tons of support, ideas, & advice. There will be none of the "how AP are you" drama! We firmly believe that you should "take what works for your family and leave the rest behind". Also, while this is not an NP (natural parenting) group, we realize that many AP moms are also NP moms & therefore also provide support on NP choices.
