This group is created to help mothers have an opportunity to talk with professionals about maternity care.

Here we are supportive of all drug-free and intervention-free births, which usually occur at home and in birth centers. However, if you are a CNM trying to provide this type of service in a hospital setting, your contributions are welcome. This group DOES NOT support elective c-sections, inductions, unnecessary interventions, typical OB practices, or most regular hospital births.

MOMS:
I ask that you all be respectful to the midwives,midwife apprentices and student midwives; since they are being kind enough to take time from their busy schedules to help us out and answer our questions. If I see midwives being attacked or mistreated, you will be removed from the group. All trolls will be removed and banned from the group as well.

MIDWIVES:
Continually accepting midwives (regardless of certification) and midwife apprentices who are willing to answer questions from mothers. Please join only if you are a holistic birth midwife, student midwife or midwife apprentice. Please be ready to answer questions about pregnancy, labor, delivery, all birth related questions; as well as postpartum questions such as breastfeeding, newborn care, natural remedies, etc. Please feel free to PM me with any questions that you may have. I realize that it is normal to be extremely passionate about birth. I would ask that you remain courteous when responding to all questions presented.
