Any Crafters?

I got together with Ashton and found out both of us do crafts. Well i mostly do cross stich as well as jewelry making. Right now cross stitch is taking up my time. I believe im getting a sewing machine for chirstmas in which case im going to be learning to quilt and make costumes like for medievil fairs and what not. I will even be having one of my rooms turned into a craft room/ guest room.

 

Me and Ashton have decided we are going to get together everynow and then and do crafts, im going to teach her to cross stitch she is going to teach me crotchet and we are going to learn to quilt together. Im wondering if anyone else is a crafter and would perhaps like to join us? I am a stay at home wife and truthfully love being around people. So far only ones ive met on the base are my two neighbors and ashton. Id love to meet more of you ladies and crafting is a good way to meet people. I do have a dog she is a mini daucshund and loves kids especailly babies so if you would want to bring your kids over that would be fine. I'd LOVE to especially if I could learn to crochet!! I myself can make blankies, bows, carseat covers, babylegs, and a few other things. I LOVE crafts though! And scrapbooking!

Sweet you are officially in the "We are nerds and craft alot" club lol!!! I'm not very good at crochet though I only know a few stitches. Nothing special. I'm still learning.

I LOVE crafts too! I haven't learned to crochet, but I can do bows, tutus, ornaments, bow holders! I scrapbook, and make picture crafts, its sort of an addiction haha!! I would love to learn to sew!

^___^ well ill probally set up a date when Ashton gets back and we can talk about dates we can start doing some crafts? Hubby i have for a week so im kinda stealing him and only going outside the house if we are going to my parents or church lol and then the week after chirstmas his mom is coming o.o so im probally going to be stuck doing that as well. So sometime after the 1st if you guys have some dates you wanna get together or days that are good for you please tell me ^_^

Okay girls any date you guys want to get together? Im up for whenever hubby is going to be gone from the 14th of january to the 8th of march and could use some company then. I also hope you guys can just come visit even if you dont want to craft cause im going to need some support cause weve only been married for 6 going on 7 months, he hasnt deployed yet but his first 6 month deployment is in march and im slightly freaking out.
