My name is Lisa and I'm a stay at home mom to Grant, who will be two next month. We moved to Mayport in June and love it so far! I am originally from Virginia and my husband is from Indiana. We were in San Diego before we moved here. I must say..I really miss the California weather as opposed to this humidity. lol I'm getting used to it though. I used to think that I was a home-bound person, but I coming to realize that I hate being stuck in the house and love to get out and meet new friends! I hope to meet you all soon!
hi im melissa!!! im turning 24 tomorrow!!! woo hoo partay!!! i have 2 kids connor will be 3 on the 23rd of this month and morgan will be 3 months on the 27th. right now im a stay at home mom and i hate it!!! i start school oct 13th for lpn...my hubby's name is dustin and he is my world!!! we will be here in jax for the next 4 1/2 years, i recently got out of the navy i was an air traffic controller...its not for everyone and is a high stress job but i loved it! i just dont want to do it in the civi world. my hubby fly's in p3's because hes gansta like that lol no im not really ghetto lol im just in a chipper mood...and i hate people that act ghetto. im originally from tampa florida well st. petersburg but when i say that alot of people dont know what im talking about even though its a really big city. i like country music...well thats it for now, hope to meet everyone soon!!! sorry for my punctuation and not capilatlizing lisa!!! ill fix it later im in a hurry to get to elmo!!!!!!!
Hi!! I am Anna,28, mommy to Trent, who will be 4 on the 24th of Sept and Wesley who is 19 months. I have the honor of being a stay-at-home mom but some days it drives me up the walls. My husband is a QMC stationed on the John Hall. We have been in Mayport for about a month now and it is starting to grow on me. I can do without any drama so if you have it...no thank you. I am an easy person to get along with but I hold a grudge for a long time and get annoyed very easily. Anything else you want to know about me, feel free to ask.
Hi! I'm Emily and I'm a stay at home mom to Lukas (20 mths old). We've been in Jacksonville for about 2.5 yrs. We were stationed in San Diego before we came here and we just got orders to Hawaii (we'll probably move around April sometime). My husband and I are from Louisiana.
I'm Katie my husband (Kevin) and I are from the other coast of Florida near Tampa. We have two boys Colten is 3yo and Cade who will be 2 next month yeah! I also have 2 fur babies Mattie who is 8 and Danny who is 3 we think of them as our children. Kevin has been in for almost 6 years now and we were stationed out in Oklahoma for 5 years on sea duty and moved here in June. He is on shore duty here so we are only here for 2 years but would like to stay here for another sea duty. He is an AM. I have had some hardships in my family lately so I would love to meet some more people and get out of the house.
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am married to Stoney. He is in the Army and we are both from Texas. We are currently at Ft. Detrick, MD, but are moving to Mayport Nov. 3rd. I am a SAHM also. I have 5 kids and 1 stepson, but 4 live with us. My oldest (13) lives in Texas with his dad. Brysen (11), Harley (8 today), Dylan (15 months) and Rylan (2 1/2 months) live with us. I am hoping to go back to work sometime in the near future, but I don't want to put my LO's in a daycare, so i'm hoping to find someone to watch them in our home or theirs and I would LOVE to meet new people. In the almost 2 years we have been here I haven't really met many moms my age or even with the same interests. Hope to meet you all soon!
Hi, My name is Amanda. My husband, Matt, is on the USS Doyle. This is our first duty station and we have been here since June. I like it so far....I am from Michigan so the heat and humidity are new to me! I have one son, Connor, he is 14 months. I am a huge animal lover but right now we just have 2 adult cats, Hankie and Milton. I raised them since birth. I love to read, watch movies, and basically like to do anything inside...I am not much of an outside person.
Weird facts about me- I play the tuba and have a degree in mortuary science.
Hello everyone. I am Natalie. We just moved to Mayport a month ago from Sarasota, FL. Travis and I have been married for almost 7 years but we are both new to the Navy. He joined a year ago this week. This is our first duty station and our first taste of Navy life. We have one beautiful daughter named Olivia. She is six and in the 1st grade at Finegan. Travis also has another daughter, Zoe who will be 8 in a few weeks. She lives with her Mom, but visits. We want to have more, but we will see what happens. If its meant to be it will happen! Anyway, I'm a work-at-home Mom. I am trying to get my business 'Loving Arms ~ Nanny & Domestic Placement Agency' off the ground. So, my days are busy with networking meetings and interviewing candidates, but I'm pretty flexible. And, I pick Liv up from school which is my favorite part of the day. What else can I tell you? Oh, we have a sweet little kitten named Bob. I'm still not sure if it is a girl or boy, but either way, he/she is Bob. I guess that is about all. I am really excited to meet other Navy Wives/Moms.
