HISTORY:
Proud Public Breastfeeding or PPB is a group that really shouldn't have had to be created. Unfortunately, as many nursing moms have experienced, there are some negative ideas about babies eating out in public. The group was designed to offer advice and support to nursing mamas in regards to situations they have or might encounter with public nursing. The original creator of the group is a happy and loving mother of 2 who has been an amazing advocate for moms and babies. The main focus of PPB is to be a safe haven for discussion regarding nursing in public (NIP), breastfeeding information and advice, venting and frustrating, and plain old chit chat!
Many of our group members "met" here and became great online friends! We may not agree on all issues in parenting, but when we are here, we're all "heffas" and we all talk openly and honestly.

Hello everyone from Eastern Iowa:) I am a proud breastfeeder, and won't bend for etiquette or whatever ppl want to call it... I will feed my children whenever they need fed and that is almost anywhere I am (except driving in the car- which I have seen ppl do, and I DO NOT SUPPORT that)!
Anyways, I am having a blast celebrating CafeMom's 3rd BDAY and the games and contests are so much fun! Thanks for being apart of it!
