OK..so at first my periods are every 26-27 days. The last one was on the 36th day and lasted 13 days! Some time went in-between , maybe a week an a half , I had traces of something but then it left.
At xmas I had lost my voice, then felt really run down, figured I had the flu...hot and chilly went to dr,  etc. still have the bad cough too...... The cough and stuffy nose are much better now but I got my period..again...still feel...run down and I still have hot flashes. I tried to calculate my next period and 26 days would be Monday the 14th. I had a few days reprieve in between then got some *traces* here and there....didn't know if it was my lining (the doc had said my lining was thick and I have cysts here and there too that come and go)  Well, I got it again Friday the 23rd day///, cramps and all. With the "flu" I had an achy back in my shoulder blades and with period I get lower ones. So all in all I feel like I am falling apart!

My question is...are those hot flashes the pre-menopause? Perhaps it wasn't the flu at all, tho I did feel like I was run over by a truck for a few days.
Are these period changes and trace blood normal? What about cysts or lining thick? Why do I feel so unhealthy!!

Ok in some of my defense I do have a auto-immune disorder and cannot take immune boosting things, and some issues I have are related to that but tolerable. It was suggested to me that maybe I am anemic (I take a multi ? and never have been before) or have an imbalance in hormones due to cysts? I can take some echinacea for a few days but not too long, I cannot stimulate my immune system TOO much...tho I think it does need some kind of boost.
So alot of questions here! LOL

I'm not too sure if it would have been the flu or not.  I will say, as someone who also has an auto-immune disorder, that you are best to get your hormones balanced naturally.  Stay off of any synthetic or phyto estrogens.  The research I have done indicates that estrogen can have a serious role in auto-immune disorders.  I have eliminated all excess estrogen from my system as well as changing my diet and even cleaning supplies (they carry some xeno estrogens).  I will do some research and see if I can help in any way with your questions.

One of the main ones in cosmetics is parabens.

Mineral makeup is a very good thing.  It is natural.  Just make sure you aren't using one that uses a lot of fillers.  Parabens are the main ones coming to my mind.  Also, make sure the meat you are eating isn't injected with hormones or antibiotics.  Pesticides have also been known to interrupt estrogen receptors.  Do you mind my asking which line of mineral makeup you are using?

I have tried sheer cover...I like it, but it seems some of the items make my eyes itch (the concealer maybe?)..I might try a cheaper one......here's the ingredients ....

Mineral Foundations:
Active Ingredients: Zinc Oxide (12.00%). Other Ingredients: Boron Nitride, Bisabolol, Aspalathus Linearis Leaf Extract, May Contain (): Bismuth Oxychloride (CI 77163), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Mica, Iron Oxides (CI 77491, CI 77492, CI 77499)

I do find i break out more now as i age going thru pre-menopause. That on top of my autoimmune dis-order...I feel like a mess sometimes!

You are best to go with a more pure mineral makeup.  Sheer cover really isn't all that pure.  What is most likely making you itch is the bismuth oxychloride.  This is used as a filler in many mineral makeup companies.  If you like, I can get you a list of companies that offer more pure mineral makeup.

I was wondering what you thought of these ingredients? (another mineral one I found)

Foundation - titanium dioxide, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, cornstarch, magnesium sterate, mica, oxides, vitamin e
Blush - cornstarch, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, oxide
Powder Me Again -  titanium dioxide, kaolin clay, zinc oxide, magnesium sterate, mica, oxides, vitamin e, jojoba oil.

Cornstarch is a cheap filler, but I will admit I do use it in my body shimmer.  But that is the only product I use it in.  Also, if you are finding one with Vitamins or oil in it, they are both good ingredients, but they will need a preservative in the product to maintain a shelf life.  I'm not really sure what they are using as a preservative as one isn't listed.

Magnesium stearate is used to help with adhesion and is the magnesium salt of stearic acid.  It ranks pretty low on cosmetic database.  That's a good thing.

The ingredients themselves look to be pretty good.  Good luck finding a product you like!
