I will be a 1st time ferret owner very soon. We will only be getting one for now. We do have the time to spend with him/her and I am a ferret pro it seems like from all the research I have done lol. I am a sahm of two boys ages 3 and 1 1/2. We do have a mean parakeet named Skeet that they pet and are gental with so if you are worried please don't be :) I have a list of things I plan to get before we bring the little furball home. Please add to the list or tell me if I'm missing something. I also have baby blankets that I don't use that are not on the list. I picked everything from ferret.com if you were wondering.

Only missing one very VERY important thing.  I qualified ferret vet.  Not just one that sees ferrets, but really knows them.  Ferrets have a host of health issues you need to know about, and have a good vet to help you.  Other than that, you have pretty much everything.  I would actually leave out the ferret stool smell reducer, they don't work, and the food you are feeding doesn't usually produce a bad smell.  Good luck, ferrets are awesome pets.

I would suggest ear cleaner, skin and coat supplement, vitamins, nail clippers, kwik stop and a few different kinds of treats for positive training experiences. We have 3 ferrets and they probably have way too much stuff but the are very loved! You will love your little fuzzy!

I also have to disagree with DeeJay292, if I don't use the Bi-Odor my babies stink to high heaven... I suppose it depends on your little guy. I also use the same food that you put up here, its a great food!

Good luck!
