new to group and ferret mommyhood

Hello well valintines weekend I became a mommy to 2 fuzzies  man I love them. I was happy to rescue them from the homes they were in I dont want to get into how it was but they are happy together. they both came from different home but get along great. I am not sure of the ages since the last owners were not sure either 100%. They will be going to a vet ASAP since I have not found one that i feel is good enough for them. But I know I have to pick soon get them the shots since it is unknown if they ever had them

they are Micky and Mini  my kids love them and we are building them a condo  it is still a work in progress.

Good Luck, its great that you rescued them.  And its great you are looking for a qualified ferret vet.  If you have a ferret shelter in your area they can usually tell you a good one.  Not all vets are knowledgeable in ferret health.

agreed.. usually you will want to find a vet clinic that has a doctor who has studied exotic pets. I don't consider them exotic at all so I was surprised to hear that but it really helped when my baby had an intestinal blockage a couple years ago.. and when it comes to putting them down it helps to have someone who doesn't ahve to look up the dosages of the meds.
