The vets office told me I could give mine cut up chicken livers.  She said you could just cut them up and feed them raw or you can boil them before you slice them.  Hope that helps :)

Most fresh meats are good. Try things that are similar to natural prey for ferrets (ie chicken, turkey, rabbit etc). Once your ferret gets used to eating raw meat, he will even munch through bones and feathers! Avoid treats that are high in carbohydrates like bread or fruit. These are very bad for ferrets.

My vet that specializes in Ferrets said just about the only "safe" table food you can give them is Chicken, Turkey and Eggs. Cooked or raw. As for all of them I cook them because of all the bacteria, isn't bad for the ferrets but my kids like to play with them and I just don't feel comfortable letting them do that when raw meat has been in the cage. Also my vet told me that if you start feeding them raw or live food their behaviors will most likely change. She said they can get more aggressive and be more prone to biting human flesh. I hope this helped a little. :)
