Ok i made the switch myself to Scentsy when my son started pulling up and consequetly starting pulling everthing else down. I was scared of fire from open flame, the soot the were realsing into the air and what would happen to my poor baby if he stuck his hand in the top of a hot candle.
I bought Scentsy just to try it out and i LOVED it. There are over 100 warmers to choose from, that run via light bulb so no worry of flame or soot. And they offer over 80 scents in wax bars that only become luke warm so if baby get curious they wont get burned!!

I don't get how these are any less dangerous, I have Scentsy & I still keep them up high because though it is a hot bulb vs. a flame, there is a bigger pool of hot wax! IMO They are not safer around children, so they shouldn't say so, but they do have tons of smells & are enjoyable when kept.. way.. out of reach.
i have to agree with Madame Electra on this, they aren't safer than open flame candles. there's still a chance of a house fire if there's a wiring malfunction, and another thing would have to be the hot wax. if it were to some how tip over or fall off of whatever surface it happens to be on, super hot wax isn't gonna feel that great to a little kids skin, or anyones skin for that matter. it can cause some severe burns. there is a plus side to them though, i love the fact that they are smokeless. that's a definite perk. <3
" and because the wax melts at such a low temperature, it never gets hot enough to harm your children or pets, let alone start a fire. Scentsy warmers are safe enough to leave on 24/7"
