Ingredients:

8 graham cracker rectangles

3/4 c milk chocolate chops

1 1/2 c mini marshmallows

Get your child to count out 8 graham crackers.  They can measure out the chocolate chops and mini marshmallows.

Have them break each graham cracker into 4 pieces. Put the pieces in the pan. (Don't use a glass pan because it could break under the broiler) Sprinkle the chocolate chips and the marshmallows over the graham crackers.

You put the pan uner the broiler about 6 inches from the heat; broil for about 30-60 seconds, until the marshmallows get puffy and look light brown. Watch carefully so the s'mores don't burn.Carefully take the pie pan out from under the broiler with the pot holders. Don't let the pot holders  touch the broiler or they might catch on fire.

((we made these and they are sooooo good!!))

***Did you know where s'mores got their name? They taste so good that when you eat them you always want "some more". S'mores are usually made outside over a campfire, but this indoor version can be made no matter what it is like outside.***
