Ingredients:

1/4 c maple-flavored pancake syrup

3 frozen original pancakes

8 raisins

1 maraschino cherry

2 pieces of red string licorice (each 1/2 in long)

Measure out the pancake syrup in the liquid measuring cup.

Stack the pancakes on the plate. Microwave on high 30 seconds.

Use the table knife to cut one of he pancakes into pieces for the ears and the bow tie on the cutting board. Arrange the ears and he bow tie around the stack of pancakes so it looks like a bunny.

Mcrowave the pancakes on high 30-45 seconds, until the pancakes are warm all the way through.Carefully take the plate out of the microwave withthe pot holders.

To make the bunny's face, put 2 raisins onthe top pancake where the eyes should be. Put the cherry where the nose should be. Use the string licorice to make the mouth. Put 3 raisins on each side of the bunny's bow tie. Drizzle syrup over the top.

**Instead of a bunny, try making other animals out of the pancakes. How about a dog or cat? Can you think of other foods you could use to ake the eyes, nose or mouth?**
