What are your thoughts on Pluto in Capricorn?
It's gonna be there for the next 16 years. From what I read, the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was during the French Revolution. With the recent election, America's state of unrest, economic crisis, etc.... I would definatley say that "Revolution" might be stirring yet again. With Capricorn being tied so closely with finances, instituitions, stability, etc, and Pluto being the planet of death, regeneration, and Karma..... I was just wondering what your thoughts on this phase of time is....

* came back to edit post & add this. These are cards from the Celestial Tarot. Pluto is related to the card "Judgment", while Capricorn is related to the card "The Devil" - (temptation & control)
here's a bit from the booklet;
"XX Judgment; Pluto; The Inner Judge
Lord of the underworld and judge of the dead, Pluto rarely surfaced. However, when he did, his helmet rendered him invisible making it difficult to sense his presence. More often Pluto draws us down into his world to confront the truth. Pluto faces us through the shadows of the underworld; his gaze is fixed and penetrating, demanding engagement and honesty. Custodian of what has been buried alive, Pluto contains the complexes and patterns not adequately interred or pshychologically completed. When the card appears it suggests the past can be excorsised through accepting responsibility for what has occured. In this card Pluto holds the riches of the underworld. Ultimatley this is the wealth of self-knowledge and self-empowerment constellated by the confrontation with the unconscious."
"XV The Devil: Capricorn's Instinctual World
Capricorn was recognized as early as the second millenium BCE. The greeks found their correlation in their myths of the horned goat - god Pan who, when frightened by the monster Typhon, jumped into the sea transforming himself into a sea goat. In Pan's left hand is a leafy branch symbolizing his earthyness; in his right are his panpipes he played his haunting melodies on. The Devil arises when our creativity is landlocked and our essence is imprisoned in the material realm. Pan suggests the individual may be stuck in an unfullfilling job, bound to an endless cycle of despair, trapped in a loveless relationship, or driven by compulsions. The card confronts the individual with the creative possibility of breaking loose from restrictions. On the other hand, it may suggest that the unexpressed creative possibilities are manifesting as depression or lethargy. To restore well-being, creative potentialities need to be nurtured."
Looking at this astrological phase from the point of view of these cards just creates more questions with me. I have an ominous feeling about the future.....
anyone else have some thoughts on this?

You can take it this way--Capricorn being restrictive and having to do with responsibility. Pluto ruling Violence. Restricting Violence and Being Responsible.
or maybee like this-- Pluto is Corruption, Capricorn is Business (Yes this- we definatly can already see)
Well as the title goes I wouldn't call it a ZANY time but I could call it a Caustic (pluto)type of (capricorn) Sarcasm!! J.Lily
My thoughts as a Capricorn....
I like Stability. Capricorn energy urges us to strive for the best, but to be cautious and not take risks. Pluto being a planet of change, I just see Changes in the order of things - things that will eventually create more stability and prosperity - but the changes require some "tearing down" of old standards and rules. I know that these changes may cause some difficulties and nervousness at first, but be for the best in the end.
