But, here goes.

I am not a pro and am trying to learn to use my macro and lighting correctly.

A friend ran accross a site which showed you how to make your own little-mini "Photo Shoot Room" .

Any box, line the inside and go to work!  I used a plastic crate and bought poster board.  It was easy to cut and just stand in the box on the floor, all four sides and the top ( a couple pieces of tape were needed).  These are in white (suggested to begin with) and I also bought red and black.  I plan to cut one piece of white for the back and do paint splashes, you can do anything you can think of for your room-in-a-box.

I'm having a blast with my own min-photo-shoots, I thought if there were any others in the group like me - not a pro, they may enjoy also, I believe this is going to help me learn to use light and shadows.

6 photos:

with a flash

no flash, just natural light from room

removed ceiling (har! har!) and used an overhead light for this one

overhead flood light for this also

I used a small flashlight trying to "spot" only the candy - I need to work on this one (LOL)

I used the overhead floodlight on this one trying to make the glass glow.

I'm having a blast and learning.
