so how long is this lock down?

My husband, who is stuck on post (as i'm sure most of your husbands are as well) said the lockdown is supposed to last for 96 hours... is this true or just a rumor? he said he saw it on tv.

That's ridiculous. I can't see my husband for four days?? we were supposed to go out of town this weekend. i understand locking the post down for a little while but four days is overkill. Not only that... but they caught two of the guys and killed the other one!! they're not causing any danger anymore!! please someone if you know let me know

Update:: he just said they're letting people on and off post. but he's still stuck there. so idk whats going on yet.

 Wow, well I have no idea.  But my DH is in the field, and supposed to come home tomorrow after being gone all week, so this would suck if that's true.  I don't see why they would, but this is the first time I've ever lived on post, so I have no idea what they do.  I'll be checking back later to see if anyone knows if this is true!

I sincerely doubt that they will hold this lockdown for that long.  I heard that they have already started letting people go.  But my husband is still on post and I haven't heard that they've let him go yet.  We shall see.

ACTUALLY, I think they just lifted the lockdown.

Lockdown was lifted, but they're checking every vehicle so it'll be awhile before my husband or yours gets home.
