Does anyone live in Com 3? We were just offered a house over there this morning and I have no idea what they're like. Does anyone have any pics they can post for me to see?
I live in the newer part of Comanche III, but just a block over is the older part that looks totally different from mine. Here is a picture out my front door from when it snowed, it gives you a little idea. Your best bet is to just drive by. That's what we did before we looked at it. You can get the keys and look at the place before you accept it. Good luck.
We already accepted it, our lease is up in a month and we don't want to fork out the money for a new rental house..Plus DH is deploying soon, and I'll just feel safer alone with 2 kids while living on post.
But we went and drove through today, hoping we get a newer one but if not oh well. The older ones don't look too bad.

Yea I'm perfectly okay with it being an older one if it is. We didn't think we'd get a house on post before our lease was up, so I'd be pretty happy with pretty much anything. DH is disappointed that it's a longer commute to work (he's 3rd ACR, he works right next to the Warrior Way PX), but oh well.

Hes in 2nd squadron. Are you staying here when they deploy? I really want to, but everyone I've met is going home when their husbands leave and he wants to go too...

And yea, I'm staying here over the deployment. We were waiting to see if we'd get a house on post, that was the deciding factor since living on post will save us money as opposed to renting like we're doing now. We'll have to have some get-togethers that way if you stay behind we'll both have someone to hang out with. Everyone I know is going back home for the deployment too.

my hubby is 3rd acr too! he's in 2nd squd! and im staying during the deployment to. i would love to get together with yall when you do. sorry for just jumping in on your conversation i was just looking to see what comm iii looked like and got excited to see that yall are staying during the deployment.
That would be great!!! I'm absolutely terrified of having 2 kids and being completely alone over a deployment, so the more friends the merrier!!!
