I got here to TX back in october. I am so disapointed with the way I have been treated by the staff at Darnall!!! Every appointment I have had, along with every visit to the labor and delivery triage floor has been a nightmare! Its gotten to the point where I am having actual nightmares at night because of some of the experiances I have had there including getting an internal exam by a man claiming to work on the labor and delivery floor, wich instead felt like he was scrambling through his wifes purse for a set of keys.... I. Left the hospital bleeding that night until the next morning and it hurt to sit down for a week after that. I have had internal exams before an never in my life have felt so violated or in pain... and I'm 35 weeks pregnant!! I filed an ICE complaint have spoken to all the right people that I was supposed to and nothing has been done about it.. even when I asked to have no men in my room at any time the first person to rush into my exam room was a male resident who walked in on me with nothing on from the belt down an wouldn't leave who was all so excited to get his turn at an internl exam with me!! Every visit I have had to that hospital I have been forgotten about more then once per visit left unhooked from monitors no one seems to listen to the concerns that I express....I'm trying to see if I can be seen off post but I can't get the referal I need to do so....I refuse to be treated this way. Just because I'm military doesn't mean I have to put up with this we as woman deserv better!

you really have to put your foot down with them. like when the male resident came in and refused to leave you should, for next time, demand what you want. as far as being forgotten, if you have been waiting less than 20 minutes that is normal some days. life happens and they run behind. if you still have appointments left request navarro-becker. she is wonderful. (well i thought so, lol) she is usually on time and tends to remember her patients. my 1st pregnancy here was horrible, 2nd wasnt so bad, and now i am going to ask for her this pregnancy.
