I've been thinking on whatelse I can make to really personalize the room. I saw another post in a diffrent group where a mom had painted the switch plates. I thought I would give it a go! This is what I got. I love them! I'm still waiting for the poly to dry on them before I put them back on the walls tomorrow!

8 weeks for you! =) Don't worry your project seems so much easier than mine does! Especially after I read that book on quilting. =) Lucky you!

Did you freehand the switchplates or use a stencil? They look great...that's a good idea!

They are free handed. It's a mimic of the boarder around the bunny quilt squares. I need to make one more yet. I forgot an outlet! =)

I am on my 9th crocheted blanket for baby. I have a black blanket with pink, purple, and green running through it not pictured. I also made the green sweater and bonnet set as well as the little pink dress.

I made the purple doily.

I painted the letters on her wall purple. Purple is not showing up very well with my camera. I also added the little bows at the top and the hanging ribbons. I did not make the butterflies, but I thought the were really cute with the letters.
