So I Had my growth ultrasound today :), because of my GD and because i was measuring ahead.. So i am suppose to be 33 weeks and 3 days preggers today lol . But my lil Devon aint so lil lol.. He is measuring in 3 weeks and 1 day ahead of schedule at 36 and 4 days !!!! And is already measuring/weighing in at a 6 lbs !! And is in the 70th percentile.. The ultrasound lady said that she is suprised that the docs dont have an induction/c-section date scheduled for me already . And that if i carry Devon to the full "40 weeks" then he is going to weigh in at 8 3/4 to 9lbs, but if i have him at 38 weeks then he will be 7 and 3/4lbs to 8lbs.. But he is squished in there. And has chubby lil cheeks and my amniotic fluid went from 12.45 to 10.25 since last thursday.. So he is starting to run out of his lil swimming pool lol. Oh and he is already doing breathing actions which is great.. But thats all for now. My next ob appt is on june 11th..

Wow, he looks like a newborn already, so cute.
I had to ask my doctor to schedule me for the cesarean, I think he forgot or something, idk. but he's the one who did my first, it was emergency with a T shaped incision, so I have to have one. back toy your not-so- little one, I can never even think about pushing an 8 lbs baby out of there, so ask him next time to schedule you for induction mama.
I cant believe he is measuring almost full term :) it's exciting yet makes me nervous lol. And i am going to ask my doc if they can schedule me for an induction. I am due july 18th, but if he is measuring almost 37 weeks. I am thinking about asking her for the last week of june or the first week of july. Hopefully they will let me do it because i really want to have him naturally. It would make me sad to have already had two natural child births just to have my last baby by c-section.. It was funny though the us tech said that he was def going to surpass his brothers in the weight department lol, that he was going to be my moose child, I had to laugh. Then when i saw his head i was like omg he has a huge noggin, i was like does he. And she goes well we generally try not to scar our mothers but yes to be honest he has a big head lol..

My OB will do an induction for GD at 38 weeks (my first was that way and he was 8 lbs 10 ozs)
My second was 11 lbs 6 ozs and we opt for the c section so I had to wait till 39 weeks. My third was a GD baby again and had to do a repeat c section and he was 10 lbs 12 ozs at 38 weeks 6 days....I am not allowed to schedule mine before 39 weeks cause of the GD but because I have a c section!
You should be able to get yours the first week in July! WOO HOO !!! that makes it like a month away! LOL! (not to scare you haha!)

Wow i dont know if i could imagine delivering a baby that was over 8 lbs. And i am actually kinda excited that it could be in a month :) Also my docs might do it before 38 weeks because my blood pressure has been up. But I am just glad that i am ready for him to be here and have everything lol.. And i hope your lil one is in the weight range you have been hoping for...

I don't have GD and I'm measuring big... already measuring "full term"- 37 weeks. But I havn't got my hopes up for an early arrival, b/c my son was big and I didn't have GD with him either, and he came a week late by induction. This time I am planning to go without induction. I delivered a 9lb 11oz. baby no problem, so I think I'll be fine if this one decides to wait 2 weeks after my original due date. Although a 11lb baby sounds kinda scary, lol.
i feel depressed now, My doctor isn't gonna do another ultrasound or anything, i will be 32 weeks thursday and have GD i had asked him about checking the babys weight, and he said it dont matter cuz whatever they would say could be a pound under or over. I keep reading peoples stories and watching that baby story on TLC and the doctors checking weights and fluid, my Dr doesnt do that, he just checks heartbeat ask if i feel him moving and thats it.
I go Thursday to see how big she's gotten. At 27 weeks she was already at 3lbs. I already have my induction scheduled July 16th -but that is more for my medical condition - passing massive amounts of kidney stones, getting hydration 24/7 via a PICC Line and having a stent in my kidney/bladder.
I had GD with my first and she was 7lbs...also induced early due to the same medical condition.
