I have known a couple different people (one being my sister) who went into labor the same day (or night) that they started feeling sick. I remember my sister being so upset because she was supposed to be induced on April 3rd and on April 2nd she started feeling really sick like she was going to throw up. She felt ill all day long, and was worried they may not induce her if she was sick. Instead on that same night (April 2nd) her water broke, and she went into labor, and ended up having my nephew the next evening. She had two friends who also had the same experience. Hopefully its a good sign for you!

GOOD LUCK!

Nausea is a sign of labor. For me with my first one I actually threw up seven times while contracting with him...I was only dialated to a two. I threw up seven times and felt the need to push. The nurse did not want to check me cause she just had 20 minutes before that and I was a 10! and ready to push.

Good luck.

I had a horrible stomach ache for 2 days and it felt like I got punched in the stomach real hard... then the next day I felt fine... went to sleep and woke up in labor with contractions 4 minutes apart.

I'm almost 37 weeks and at my appt on the 2nd I was 2 to 3 cm dilated. I was sick last night and threw up. Been feeling sick all day with lots of contractions that are 3 to 5 minutes apart for the 3 hours and lots of pressure. Just waiting for either my water to break or the contractions to get painful!

Good luck!!!!

With my first DD I had horrible loose BM's days before she was born. Yesterday I lost my plug & since then have been feeling the same way you are describing. My mid-wife in training friend said it is a sign that labor is very near & also if the movement of the baby slows drastically. I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
