How far dialated...

Were you if you had your membranes stripped?  I am a little over 38 weeks & am set to be induced next Monday if he does not come on his own (I've had a lot of complications in my pregnancy, so please if you don't agree with induction, just don't comment on it).  But I was just wondering if you had any luck if you weren't that far dialated?  I had my last appointment this morning & I am 2 cm internal & 3 cm external.  Anybody have any luck with having your membranes stripped ??  Thanks!

i got my membranes stripped tuesday. i was 2 cm dialated(probably still am) i had cramping and was hoping to have the baby but nope. and i am due today!

Don't feel bad, it didn't work with my DD, but I am hoping it will work with this little guy!  I'd love to go into labor on my own!  Hang in there & best wishes for a quick/easy labor & delivery!

Ive had mine stripped for the last 3 weeks at my weekly appointments and since last appt I dialted from a 2 to a 4 but I haven't gone into labor yet!
