I thought it might be fun to get a post going to what books are out there for different ages.
My 3 year old son currently loves the book, The Shabbat Box, by Lesley Simpson. It's a cute story of a preschooler who finally gets his turn to take home the class shabbat box and he drops it in the snow and makes a new one. The last page even has instruction how to make your own shabbat box.
Who else has any faves of their kiddos?
Alice really loves "Hannah's Sabbath Dress" which is about how a little girl's mother makes her a special dress for the Sabbath and how she gets it dirty helping an old man out...the moon cleans it and makes it glow because of the good work. It's a sweet book.
My daughter loves the character Biscuit. My parents bought my kids "Biscuit's Hanukkah" and it gets read year round!
We have that, I love it too! I like the flow of the words and the rhyme to it. It's nice to read aloud. I also use a sweet and soft high pitched voice when I read as the littles pair. :D
Quoting CharleneS.:
My kids really like a book called The Littlest Pair at the moment, its a cute story about Noah's Ark.
