I've been doing a dinner menu for a while.  It helps me to shop and it helps me to remember to take something out of the freezer every day.  I used to forget often and we would be rummaging through the cabinets, eating tuna fish sandwiches or ordering pizza.  Planning has helped me to avoid most of that!!!

I recently started watching another one year old all day and a six year old before and after school, so I have started a menu or plan for all their breakfasts, lunches, and snacks too.  This saves me from giving the little ones peanut butter and jelly every day.

Definitely browse through some of the recipes!!!  I'm sure you'll find something that everyone will like.  Today, we had NutraGrain bars and yogurt for breakfast.  Some dry cereal for snack.  Chicken nuggets and french fries (in the oven) and apple slices and animal crackers for dessert.  This afternoon snack will be Goldfish.  And we are actually ordering dinner tonight for a treat.  Other really easy breakfasts around here are cereal with fruit, scrambled eggs with cheese and toast, waffles or pancakes, or the breakfast burritos found in the recipes.  Lunches rotate different kinds of sandwiches, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, soups, etc.  I always serve some sort of fruit and/or vegetable with breakfast and lunch.  I have 13 month old twins and I just started watching a 14 month old and a six year old and starting next week, I will have  a 2 year old also!!!  I try to keep anything to only a couple of ingredients...the simpler it is, the more likely kids are to give it a try!!!

I did a full plan when I was babysitting, now I just do dinner plans.  I plan in "fend for yourself" nights!!
