I am 22 and a mother of 2 i first got my period when i was 11 they've always been very heavy and about 30+ days apart  after having my daughter (born in 2008) they went back to the way they were after about 6 months. After having my son (born in 2010) i got my period after about 2 months after i had him so in january of last yr, in february i started birth control pills and had been getting regular periods 28 days apart every month untill dec 1st when my period didn't come suspecting i was pregnant i took a bunch of tests stopped my b/c pills and never started i even had a blood hcg done and it was negative. So they did an ultrasound and found that i had PCOS. The obgyn said that i could either go back on birth control or take a medication called PROMETRIUM so i chose that medication but my ins doesn't cover it so i have to call my doctor tomorrow to see if she can find a different medication she could call in for me. Im pretty caught up on what pcos is but i don't know how to handle it my periods just STOPPED out of no where im hoping i can find a way to get them back so i don't have any more future problems. I'll update how it goes anyone can add me it might help me better understand pcos. Thanks.
