I have had mirena in since my son was 8 weeks he is now 6 months and I haven't had a period this month ALL THE OTHERS I DID IS THIS NORMAL

i have had the mirena for 2 years this april. i very seldom (maybe twice a year ) have a period and when i do it is very mild spotting. they tell me this is normal. however it has caused other problems. weight gain being the biggest problem. plus decreased interest in sex. ( the biggest problem for my husband) i hope my info helped.
