Have you seen a chromsome?
It's the number 22
The doctor says it's missing
And there's nothing they can do

Such a little Chromsome,
Difficult to see,
but if you find it
Please send it back to me

I don't know what it looks like
or if it has a name
I only know without it
life is not the same

The other little chromsomes
are working night and day
but number twenty two
helps me sing and dance and play

All my Friends have got one
but noone has a spare
I've even tried at Tesco
But they don't sell them there

If I could find my chromsome
I'd never let it go
I'd always keep it with me
In sun and rain and snow

Soon it will be Christmas
presents by the tree
But all I want is twenty two
to come back to me

That is fabulous!  I am a bit of a writer myself, so I appreciate what writing something like that entails!  I love my little Drew!  We just got the diagnosis yesterday and today I was trying to explain it to him.  He wanted me to draw all 22 "x"s and have the 22nd one be the one missing the piece.  I told him I wasn't going to draw that many.   The best part, he was so excited and almost pleased at the part where I told him it made him different from everyone else.  He said (I think) "Yeah!  I know!  I am DIFFERENT than ANYONE ELSE!"  He thought it was great.  This kids teaches me daily!
