Crockpot Chicken Cordon Bleu

6 pieces boneless skinless chicken breast

6 pieces black forrest ham

swiss cheeese or whatever you like

1 can cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup

1 bx of stop top stuffing

1 stick of butter

In the crockpot place the chicken on the bottom, then the black forrest ham, swiss cheese, can of chicken soup, box of stuffing and stick of butter.

Cook on low for 4 - 6 hrs

Normally I double all the ingredients except the butter because my family likes seconds and leftovers and cook it for 8 hrs on low.

Enjoy

This sounds great!  I love Chicken Cordon Bleu.

I have a question about the cheese - how much and do you use slices or grated?

Thanks!

I have a question, too ... do you make the stuffing mix according to the directions on the box before adding it to the crockpot?

What can be substituted for the black forrest ham?

I had planned on making just plain old stew next week in my crock, but not now.  I just have to try this!  Thanks for sharing!!!
