Crock pot cooking produces less toxins in food!

Hey Crock Pot Friends,

According to Dr. Marianne Marchese, author of 8 Weeks to Women's Wellness-The Detoxification Plan for Breast Cancer, Endometriosis, Infertility and Other Women's Health Conditions, cooking meat at low temperatures like crock pot maybe one of the best ways to eat meat the healthiest.  The book states, "Cooking meat at high temperatures can create chemicals that are not ordinarily present in meats.  When you eat the meat, you ingest these chemicals, which are known carcinogens." 

Hummmmm, something to think about!  Bring on the crock pot recipes.

Please do!  I am having lots of pain with endometriosis and bought this book out of desperation to look for some relief.  I have not stopped my cooking of meat at high temps, but I have reduced my meat eating.  Of course, I am in so much pain, that I will try anything.  Would love to hear what you find out if you find out anymore info.
