We asked all of our bloggers five questions.  See how Cafe Cynthia answered.

1. If you were an animal, which one would you be?
Dolphin. I'd be in great shape and face every day with a smile.

2. What would people be surprised to know about you?
I'm a Championship Irish Dancer.

3. Describe yourself in 5 words.
Sensitive, faithful, competitive, energetic, diplomatic.

4. What's your favorite food to eat at a party?
Bacon-wrapped dates (yum! let me know if you want the recipe ...)

5. What TV show is must-watch TV for you?
The Office (Ricky Gervais is a comedy God, but I love Steve Carell, too).

  • Okay, here's the Bacon-Wrapped Dates recipe. I got it from Martha Stewart years ago and it's so good, and only about 45 calories each:

    • Pitted dates
    • Low sodium bacon, each slice halved
    • Toothpicks

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Wrap dates with half bacon slice and secure with toothpick. Place on sheet. Bake in 350-375 degree oven for about 15 minutes or until bacon is crisp and carmelized. I even broil them sometimes.

Let cool before eating (this is very important because those dates really heat up).

    Sweet and salty, so good!
