This is the group for all scrapbooking moms.  To let every member enjoy this group, please be respectful and follow our rules.

• Please keep all posts polite.  If we see offensive words or derogatory content in the post, we may delete that post without warning.
• If you have a personal question or problem, please send a message to the person.  Don't use our forum for personal messages.
• This group is for scrapbooking moms, so please keep any other subjects away from this group.  This is NOT a place for personal opinions on things outside of the papercrafting realm, this is a place to ask questions, share ideas and get inspiration.
• When you want to advertise your business involving scrapbooking, please follow the advetising rules below.
• Please respect other members or other ways/styles of scrapbooking.  We each have our preferences and opinions.  Exchanging opinions about products/styles is fine, but please be respectful each other. 
• Please do not be negative or derogatory towards others and then cite Freedom of Speech.  It is not applicable here.   Freedom of Speech applies to government and some public arenas.  Cafemom and ScrapNMoms are NOT public forums.  They are private groups, you have to be a member to post and by becoming a member you have given up those freedoms in lieu of our guidelines.  While that may sound harsh or elitest, we feel it is in the best interest of the group which we want to be a happy, warm, fuzzy place. 
• Please note that the admin team reserves the right to lock or delete any post that they feel is not in keeping with our guidelines.  Once agaim, we want this to be a happy place and if we think there is the remotest chance that a post can lead to negative feelings on the part of anyone or violates guideline protocal, it is gone!

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES

• If the post includes ANY businesses, commercials, advertisings, it will be considered an ADVERTISING POST (Signatures do not count)
• After MUCH deliberation amongst the admin, we have decided to no longer allow individual advertising posts.....(Lissa note: with the exception of the monthly kit, which can easily be ignored if you are not interested and it is my group, I should be allowed some little perk, right?!)   Instead we are going to have a once a month "garage sale day"  More on this to come.
• Advertising posts will be deleted without warning.
• BOTTOM LINE: This site is for sharing ideas, swapping, challeging one another and asking questions...it is not the place for networking or looking for sales.   

 Group Events-We have LOTS going on!

• Weekly Topic:  Every Monday, we will give one subject for us to discuss about scrapbooking or whatever. This Weekly Topic post will have a sticky mark.  Please check every week, and reply your opinions!
• Challenges:  Sometimes we need motivation.  Sometimes it's good to step out of your box and try something new.  That is what challenges are for.  THESE ARE NOT CONTESTS.  Please enjoy this challenges!  There are several challenges every month, so you can try even one of them or all of them!  Please upload your finished layouts in replies to each post! 
• Scraptacular Spectacular:  We pick one for each week.  And the page which is picked will be the image of the group (the image on the top page) for a week.  It will change every Monday.  Again, THIS IS NOT A CONTEST.  We will pick kind of randomly, and we will try to put everybody's pages. 
• Scrapmistress Showcase: This is a way to feature a member who has been contributing regularly by showing off her work.  To be considered, make a gallery and update it often.  Scrapmistresses will have their galleries stickied for one month.
• Monthly Kit: This is a way for Lissa to combine her CTMH business and make more time for this group!  I LOVE y'all and want to make this the best group possible so by offereing the kit I can devote the time I would spend on CTMH on YOU!  The kit will change monthly and once they are gone, they are gone!
• Swaps: Swap is the event that we can exchange our handmade layouts/cards/embellishments etc.  Any members can join a swap, and any members can also host a swap!  To see more information, please read Swap guidelines.
• Garage Sale Day: On the second Monday of each month, we will have a thread just for those who want to weed out some unused products.  This is A) to give you a heads up and maybe motivate you if you want to weed out some stuff and B) reduce any ad posts.  If you are a vendor and want to post specials, feel free.  I will also most likely have a coupon code for some online stores as well.

If you have any concerns or questions regarding the group or papercrafting in general, please feel free to contact one of the admin.  We each are avid scrappers and all have varying strengths and tastes.  We want your time spent at ScrapNMoms to be fun and relaxing.  Any suggestions you have to make the group better  are always welcome!

• Lissa - lissabeescraps (Group Owner): Hi, I'm Lissa, a homeschooling mother raising two gorgeous girls with the man of my dreams (the occassion nightmare applies, of course!), I am a serious papercrafting addict.  I have been scrapbooking for 25 years and stamping/altering for about 5.  As well as this group, I have done freelance work for several local companies along with a national one, have been on a couple design teams and am an independent consultant and team leader with Close to My Heart.  I live in Medina County Ohio (Akron-Cleveland area) and actively participate in the Scrap Queen message boards crop group.  I'm a technique junkie and LOVE to teach and share ideas!
