About Independent/Foreign Film Fans
Do you enjoy Independent or Foreign Films? Want to meet other moms (locally and internationally) who enjoy this genre of films? Possibly have Indie/Foreign Movie Nights with friends from Cafemom? Then this is the group to join!
This is a special place to share your thoughts on Independent/Foreign Films you see and recommend, or that you would advise avoiding. We also have a "Trailor Time" forum where you can see the trailors of different movies discussed in the group.
Feel free to start your own get togethers here too! If you are planning to host an event at your home, please just PM members you feel comfortable to come. This is recommended to give the host complete control of who comes to their home and number of people, which is their right. We also have a forum for public movie events in particular areas. Feel free to post there anytime if you know of an event going on in your area. Of course, if you would like to use this to host an event at your home, you may do so. That is up to each member.
We also have scheduled virtual movie parties, where we pick a movie of the month (via suggestion and poll) to watch and discuss. Please chime in ideas and vote! Then join the following discussion; all taking place in the movie of the month forum. Once a movie has been opened for discussion it will always be in this forum to comment on. It's never too late to discuss a movie.
