I read a post about a mom who was creating and making games for her toddlers. http://stephanieklein.com/2009/10/busy-toddler-activities.html

Does anyone else have ideas for me on what sort of games to create for my 3-year-olds?

when my girls were that age we did a lot of scavenger hunts in the house. I made several set of flash cards abcs, numbers, pics, things like that. I took one wall in the hall way and used velcro dots on the walls and the backs of cards. Hide the cards all over the house I would hide them under toys and what not so they had to clean up to play the game and then they had to put them on the wall. Like ABC they would have to put them in order when we first started I would leave some up there to help. With pics I would leave a row with letters and then they would find the pics and have to put them under the right letter it started with. Like Apple under A. My cards were made from cardstock on my computer and laminated.
