Need some help here

Hi everyone,

I am thinking of making quilts for my kids this year for christmas and I want to iron on various pictures of them and my question is, is there something I can put on the quilt after it is done so the pictures won't fade, would Scotchguard work for something like this or do I just take my chances?

Thanks for any help

I think the trick to that is not to use/wash them too much, any iron on will eventually start to wear with use. The only think I can think of is to have a see through plastic over the pictures, but that might ruin the quilt?

There is actually computer fabric that you can use for pictures for on quilts.  I can't remember exactly what it is called but someone in my other group might know.  Check out  http://www.cafemom.com/group/627 Quilting Moms.  One of the ladies there is sure to know what it is called.
