Hello Everyone, I am new here.  I love collecting Stoneware crocks. My hubby and I found where the pottery was at in our small hometown, we dug and found alot of pieces and glued several back together, and we have several pieces in our collection. anyone one out there into stoneware also?

Hi and welcome.  What do yo mean you dug and found pieces of stoneware, please tell me more.

I don't collect stoneware but I collect pottery. is there a certain stoneware you prefer?

Yes I LOVE pottery and crocks!  My sister-in-law calls me a "crockhead" LOL.  My last acquisition was a Donaggho crock from WV that I got on e-bay.  I've always  wanted one but they are SOOOOO darn expensive in antique stores!  I FINALLY got one at a decent price! YEA!

Yes we actually found the ground where the stoneware pottery was made...we dug and dug and found so many interesting things. Alot we glued back together. The color is gray with blue flowers/clovers on them.

yes i see donnagho alot being from the area. I love crocks.
