OK, the vote finally became clear and the majority wants to read "The Elephant in the Playroom" for November and December/ 60%-40%. We will go ahead and make that our book but because the vote was so close, we will skip the voting at the end of December and read "Look Me in the Eye" for January! Does that make sense? I hope this is a good compromise!

November-December- "The Elephant in the Playroom"- discussion will be posted last week of December

January- "Look Me in the Eye"-discussion will be posted first week of February.

PS- THE DISCUSSION FOR "THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME' IS STILL OPEN FOR 3 MORE DAYS! ALL ARE WELCOME! THANKS FOR LETTING ME POST THIS HERE!

  • Sounds like a good plan. Will you send out a reminder about January's book, late in December? My brain will be fried from moving & trying to get settled. I hope to be back online by late Dec/January. All depends on what's available to rent....Can you feel the joy, just thinking of unpacking all those boxes? ROFL (we just moved here in June/July 2008, so the memories of unpacking are still painfully fresh. LOL)

I read the "Curiious Incident of the Dog", etc. some time ago.  I really liked it, and I am usually interested in any reading material that will give me any insight into the way my grandson thinks, and his reactions to stimuli.  Beth100
