Is being overly whining normal for kids like ours? Mine whines at the smallest upset and will whine for hours. He's non-verbal (for right now, fingers crossed) so I'm sure that adds to some of the frustration. But I was just curious what is your children's temperments

My daughter whines a lot.  She's nonverbal so I'm thinking it has a lot to do with the frustration of being unable to communicate.

My DS gets frustrated easily and whines first, needs reminder to use words.
It's easy to compare him to his NT twin sister.  She whines but not as much.

My daughter just started the whining.  I think she may be getting a little worse with her autism because she just started it a couple months ago.
