The ability to mainstream in school, in the 4th grade that he should be in. This one Grant would give him the ability to read, write & communicate socially with others his age.

Self esteem. He is always so hard on himselft. He strives so hard for perfection. I wish he could see himself through my eyes so that he would know how perfect he really is.

I wouldn't grant him one ability, but I would take one away.  My DS has really bad tics, one of these tics is yelling out expletives.  I would take that ability away, I'm so tired of being judged as a horrible mother because of this one thing.

To speak, absolutely! I am still waiting for the day... everything else seems minor in comparison... they say he will, & we keep waiting!
